Ryuichi Sakamoto of the world passed away due to cancer. He was 71 years old.
Ryuichi Sakamoto is famous for being the first Japanese composer to win the Academy Award for Best Original Score for his music for the movie The Last Emperor.
He also appeared in the movie "Merry Christmas on the Battlefield", co-starred with British rock singer David Bowie, and performed enthusiastically in a kiss scene between men.
