Desperate sanitary conditions in Turkey's stricken areas with no toilets

In Turkey, which was hit by a major earthquake, people who were saved from the collapse of buildings are now waiting for rescue while being afraid of the spread of infectious diseases due to poor sanitary conditions such as lack of toilets.

Most of the buildings have collapsed, and the townscape has been destroyed to the point where it is almost impossible to retain its original shape.

People who have barely managed to evacuate from the collapsed buildings are now in danger of having their health threatened by poor sanitation.

First, there are no toilets. Even if there is a temporary toilet, the capacity of the toilet is greatly exceeded, and the whole surface is contaminated with filth.

Although the disaster area is too large and relief activities cannot keep up with the situation, relief teams and relief supplies from overseas are arriving one after another, and it is believed that active relief activities will begin from now on.

It is said that 72 hours is the time limit for saving lives in the event of a disaster. I pray from the bottom of my heart that as many lives as possible will be saved.
