The Beppu Kamado Shrine, named after the main character "Kamado-Tanjiro" from the current Japanese hit "Kimetsunoyaiba", has become a sacred place for fans!
Apparently, "Kimetsunoyaiba" is a huge hit all over Japan right now, and every theater is always packed.
It's amazing that it's such a hit with kids and adults alike!
And the box office receipts would be enormous!
There are a lot of Japanese anime fans in the world. I'm sure some of you are familiar with this movie.
The protagonist is Kamado Tanjiro, who is fighting to restore his sister who became a monster. It's a very unique story.
A long time ago, there was a manga called "Dororo and Hyakkimaru", if you remember. Are you there?
Every time a demon takes your body and you win a battle against it, your body parts, such as your legs and arms, are taken away. It was a story about coming back, but I think there are very similarities in the storyline.
The story is so interesting that I still remember it vividly.
By the way, the "Kamado Shrine" with the same name as the protagonist, Kamado Tanjiro, is located at the furnace in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture It's located in the area that is now a holy place for Kimetsunoyaiba fans.
I was surprised at this, even I'm a local.
Many fans are coming to this shrine now.
The place associated with the movies, comics and novels is very attractive for the fans. I'm sure you're there!
