There was a strong earthquake with a seismic intensity of over 6 on the Japanese scale.
There is no fear of tsunami.
We don't know much about the damage because it is nighttime, but we will know more about it tomorrow morning when it gets brighter.
A major earthquake like this reminds me of the Great East Japan Earthquake that hit Tohoku in the past.
