Charles Chaplin is a comedic genius and king of comedy who can make people laugh with his shoes and walking stick.
I've seen most of his films and I think he is a wonderful filmmaker who not only makes people laugh, but also gives dreams to the poor and selfish people who live in poverty.
His films are unique in that even though they are silent and have no dialogue, you can hear his message more than words from his performance, and his achievement in cinema is too big to be expressed in words.
Chaplin's films don't have any lines, but there's a scene where he spends his entire film career speaking his soulful words.
That movie is Chaplin's The Dictator.
He raises his voice and gives a soulful speech in a film he had never spoken before.
Using a parody of the German Adolf Hitler, who was sweeping Europe at the time, he appeals to the audience: "Do not despair!
Do not despair! I can't stop shivering when he says, "I'm not going to stop trembling.
There is hope for Chaplin's films.
"Modern Times," "Limelight," "City Lights," etc.
How many people have been saved by his message of being poor but standing tall and walking upright with dreams and hopes!
Here is the address of the video of the King of Comedy Chaplin's speech on his film career, so if you have time to watch it, I hope you will be reminded of the greatness of Chaplin.
(https://youtu.be/RzTmkoR6mMQ) It's a 3.5 minute image video.
