Nowadays, the world is focusing on the development of electric vehicles, and vehicles using electricity as an alternative energy source to gasoline have already been developed and are in use in many countries.
In Japan, heavy rainfall over a long period of time has caused flooding and extensive damage in many areas.
Floods caused by heavy rains, high temperatures of 40 to 50 degrees Celsius, and permafrost melting and exposing the ground in Siberia and other places are happening in the world, which was unthinkable "in the past".
These phenomena are said to be caused by global warming due to CO2.
In order to prevent such climate change, electric vehicles are designed to not generate any CO2, and the only energy source is electricity.
If all cars were electrified, CO2 emissions from cars would be reduced to zero.
In order to protect the global environment, weaning ourselves from gasoline and going electric is an inevitable part of history!
Just recently, Oita, Kyushu, where I live, was hit by a typhoon, No. 10.
It was still far away, with maximum winds of up to 70 or 80 meters per second, and I felt fearful that my house would be blown away if it struck. The reason for the continuous occurrence of typhoons is said to be the rise in water temperature in the Pacific Ocean near Japan. When the water temperature is as high as 30 degrees Celsius, an upward current is generated and typhoons are more likely to occur. There is still a possibility that typhoons will come to Japan this year, so people should be very careful.
It is not possible for one country alone to prevent such a dangerous phenomenon from occurring.
Countries around the world must work together to take concrete measures to stop global warming.
We need to take these steps immediately as a global movement to reduce CO2 emissions from cars and factories.
Protecting our environment is necessary for our children and grandchildren and our children's children farther down the line.
We don't want to leave a polluted, grey planet to our posterity!
So let's take a good look at what we can do from a personal level and put it into action!
