Today I harvested a bumper crop of juneberries in our garden.
Every year around this time, the June berry tree is full of bright red June
berries
We do harvest, and this year has been even more bountiful than last year.
Juneberries, which can be bright red or a little more ripe and purple in
color.
It looks very tasty.
It took me about half an hour to harvest and I had a tray full of June
berries.
What do you think? Looks good, doesn't it?
After freezing the berries for a while, boil them in a pot, mash them and mix them with sugar.
Knead it and you're ready to make June Berry Jam.
It's great on bread and stuff!
It's been a really full day!
